Who We Are
Coastal Games is a nonprofit sports organization committed to empowering youth and strengthening communities through inclusive, high-quality athletic events and programs. While rooted in soccer, our mission extends far beyond the field — we create opportunities for young people, especially from underserved backgrounds, to grow through sport, build confidence, and connect with their community. Based in the Monterey Bay area, our dedicated team of coaches, organizers, and outreach professionals work year-round to host tournaments, after-school programs, and international exchange initiatives that inspire, uplift, and unite. Through every game, we’re building a movement of passion, purpose, and positive impact.

The founder of Coastal Games. Born and raised in Poland, I’ve been passionate about soccer my entire life. As a former professional player, I know what it takes to succeed at the highest level. For the past 10 years, I’ve been directly involved in various soccer projects in the USA, working on initiatives related to players of all ages and skill levels. My experience and expertise have given me a unique perspective on the sport, and I’m excited to bring that knowledge to the world of coastal games. Let’s play!

The co-founder of Coastal Games. With Chilean origins and a lifelong passion for soccer, I’ve dedicated myself to bringing joy and excitement to the Monterey county soccer community. As an entrepreneur with a proven track record, I know what it takes to build a successful organization. I’m excited to bring my skills and expertise to Coastal Games, and help bring competitive soccer to the area.

Carlos Casapia

Dedicated Bookkeeper with a B.A. in Mathematics from California State University, Stanislaus, and strong skills in Management, Sales, and Strategic Planning. Born in Peru and also Chilean, he has deep roots in the Monterey soccer scene—known for founding an Over-30 league team and being involved in many local soccer projects. With years of experience in both accounting and the soccer community, he brings a unique blend of financial expertise and passion for the game, making him a valuable part of Coastal Games.
Philip Lloyd Speciale
Outreach Manager
Experienced Sales and Business Development professional with 15 years of success in account management, community outreach, and strategic growth. Born and raised in Monterey, he has coached youth sports and is passionate about supporting young athletes. His deep local ties and proven leadership in building partnerships make him a key figure in expanding Coastal Games’ mission. With a strong track record in both sales and sports, he brings energy, commitment, and a shared vision for empowering the next generation through soccer.
